Mark Cahalane
Mark is a Senior Accredited executive and team coach who works with senior leaders and leadership teams across the private and public sectors. He coaches as someone who has led at the highest levels of a complex global organisation.
As a former member of the Global Leadership Team at CRH plc, a Fortune 500 company operating across 28 countries, Mark reported directly to the Chief Executive, led major transformation programmes and built world-class leadership functions. Before CRH, he led the Corporate Practice across EMEA for the world’s largest communications consultancy, advising senior leadership teams across some of Europe’s most prominent organisations. Mark draws on the ’corporate athlete’ philosophy, working with leaders to perform at their best under sustained pressure, lead with authenticity and purpose, and protect the person behind the role. His coaching is psychologically grounded, practically anchored and direct — building high-trust relationships in which clients are challenged, supported, and held to account for the commitments they make to their own development. As a trained mediator, Mark also works with teams and individuals in conflict, opening conversations that coaching alone cannot always reach.
He holds an MSc in Leadership and Team Coaching from UCD Smurfit Business School and an MA in Mediation and Conflict Resolution from NUI Maynooth, both with First Class Honours.
